The Noguchi Garden in Costa Mesa was Stephanie and Jon’s third date! This sweet couple met at a golf tournament (Stephanie was the organizer and Jon was participating). He played terribly because his mind was elsewhere after this cutie behind the check-in table gave him a smile.
Stephanie’s co-worker encouraged her to head home, freshen up, because when Jon was finished playing he FOR SURE was going to ask her out.
Just a short time later, they were engaged! I am a HUGE fan of this outdoor, architecture, garden lover’s dream! It’s one of the hidden gems in Orange County boasting infinite corners of lush grass, towering Redwood trees, water features and even a marble pyramid.
But that’s not event the best part, a baby corgi passed us! After learning that it was Stephanie’s favorite dog- I asked the owner if we could take a picture with and she kindly obliged. Now we’re all following the dog on Instagram! haha
