Stephanie and Jon’s Romanian wedding at the Mile Square Golf Course and Banquet Hall in Fountain Valley was full of style and originality, but what I loved most about this day was the reoccurring theme of togetherness. Of course a wedding centers around the couple, but I really admired how much Stephanie and Jon made a point to show their guests how much it meant to have everyone there. Especially their family! My favorite part of their wedding day was their first look, followed by a sweet romantics session. I learned that Jon was an admirer of expensive clothes and his forest green suit with custom interior fabric made a statement!
I also loved their ceremony! Jon’s Dad is a pastor and delivered the most heartfelt ceremony. He incorporated the Irish tradition of wrapping the couples hand in a braided leather cord. During the vows, the couple’s pre-marital counselor also shared some heartfelt insight and advice to the couple about love and marriage.
Stephanie and Jon were so intentional about every detail on their wedding. During the reception, guests were made to feel welcome with speeches and toasts in their native Romanian language. A traditional Romanian cake was served made of rum and chocolate. Making sure that above all their friends and family felt their unconditional love from beginning to end.
