Absolutely, this is one of my favorite maternity sessions of all time! Any beach in Laguna Beach is paradise on Earth, but when Nancy and Cesar asked to have her maternity photos taken at Victoria Beach, I freaked! Not only did she arrive in a gorgeous velveteen maxi dress, but she also brought a rose flower crown from The Bloom of Time located in Lake Forest. I’ve worked with this Southern California florist a couple times before while taking wedding photos in Orange County. She is one of the best!
A fairy tale was unfolding before my eyes!
Complete with its own towering castle, teal blue waters, and protected swimming wall, the sun sets here on the horizon, making for the most beautiful golden hour images I’ve ever taken!
Let’s not forget about Cesar now. He was the perfect gentleman: holding Nancy’s hand as she navigated the sharp rocks, carrying their backpack, and even acting as her stylist (fixing her hair and flower crown). Three cheers for Cesar!

Oh! Another thing I want to make sure I mention, the tide in winter has swept away all the sand. It was exceptionally rocky and Nancy can attest to this, I would not recommend having a maternity photography session at Victoria Beach in winter. I’m sorry if this is you! On the flip side, we barely saw any other beach goers which made for an easy editing session for me.
