My Bridal Shower and 30th Birthday!
Let’s be honest, I’d been planning my bridal shower since the day after our engagement! I also turned 30 this year, making it the perfect opportunity to throw a PARTY. We just moved to Lake Mission Viejo, so what better place for this celebration then right at home. Everyone wore white, I decorated with furniture and house plants, Fiona made me a tropical cake (hummingbird), we played bridal shower games, and I rented a peacock chair from HippyandHyde. Wanting to stand out, I found the quintessential ‘Erin’ dress at Rent the Runway! It was the perfect excuse to get my makeup trial done by my best friend, Kianna. Just before the party, she treated me to the Lip Lab by Bite. You create your very own shade of lipstick!! I called my color “Kissing Kane.”
My mom and sister even traveled from Hawaii to be there for my party, and my friend Sejal came down from San Francisco. It was so fun having all my favorite women in one place, and I just love entertaining on the lake. My main decor items were the peacock chair, my birthday cake, my apartment furniture, house plants, and my outfit, of course!
Lastly, a HUGE shoutout to my fiance. This man walked 13.4 miles, 63 flights, and 33 thousand steps to help move heavy furniture/party supplies to and from our apartment. You are the real MVP!!!!
