Engagement Photos in Hawaii
As I was planning a week long trip to Oahu to make some final wedding preparations, I decided it was time to do an engagement photos in Hawaii giveaway! There was only three rules:
- You have to be engaged.
- You must live on Oahu.
- You can not have previously taken engagement photos.
We had quite a few entries and it’s ALWAYS so hard to choose a winner.
Cocolani Gardens – Florist
Not to be biased, but my wedding florist is HANDS DOWN the coolest on the island. Born and raised in Waimanalo, Leandra was embedded with a love of all things green and natural since an early age. In 2014 Leandra acquired Cocolani Gardens after studying agricultural business and bio-intensive farming techniques. Ambition has grown stronger each year spent working the land and pursuing the ultimate vision of Cocolani Gardens.
The Couple’s Entry:
My fiancé and I are both from Guam but met and fell in love on Oahu ? recently engaged on Xmas morning on Lanikai beach ? (my surprise Xmas present)! So excited to get into the planning of our wedding but first engagement pics ?✨
Location:
I chose Waimanlo Beach as it’s just next door to Leandra’s farm. She was able to deliver the fresh florals just before we waded through the low tide. Janno’s pants were soaked, but he didn’t care! It was so low, we were able to walk around the bend to the towering catamaran boat. Can you see how clear the water was?!
Leandra, owner of Cocolani Gardens, surprised Danielle with a lei po’o in addition to the bouquet.
