As a Laguna Beach photographer, I recently had the honor of capturing Ryan’s surprise proposal to his girlfriend, Mari, at the breathtaking Montage Laguna Beach. This special moment was meticulously planned, with the help of their families, so cute!

Ryan reached out to me with a heartfelt plan to surprise Mari. Their families laid down red rose petals and kept the spot clear, creating an intimate and romantic setting. Mari thought they were heading to a family dinner, but when they arrived, Ryan’s proposal took her by complete surprise.

The joy on Mari’s face when Ryan got down on one knee was priceless. Her enthusiastic “yes” was met with cheers from their families, who were watching from a distance. After the proposal, we took a moment to capture the couple’s happiness with a portrait session on the sandy shores of Laguna Beach. Following the photo session, the couple joined their families for the dinner Mari initially thought they were attending, turning it into a beautiful celebration of their engagement.
