Beautiful, soft neutral tones take over this breathtaking wedding at the gorgeous St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort! I was honored to be brought on as their Monarch Beach Resort wedding photographer to capture a lovely day of romance and relaxation, making it feel like a true vacation getaway. Above the Top Events designed a swoon-worthy celebration with the most lush, abundant florals by Flowers by Cina. Today’s celebration captivates us from the flawless ceremony backdrop to the mirror flooring to the over-the-top reception with epic West Coast vibes.
Marissa and Robert celebrated their marriage on a perfect sunny day in November. They wanted to celebrate their love and honor the recent loss of Robert’s father. He was a pillar in his Native American community. First and foremost, the beginning of this story starts with Robert sending Marissa a Facebook message. Obviously, he thought she was beautiful and the rest is history. Their two young daughters were able to be a part of their day!
Incredible detail and planning
So much detail and planning went into this “Above the Top Event” (the couple’s rental company). Both the reception ceiling and ceremony flower wall took two days to complete (by Flowers by Cina) and the mirror flooring literally reflected all her hard work! First, the ceremony included large blush pink drapes lightly flowing with the sea breeze from the ocean down below the golf course. Trying to keep the focus on the couple, guests were seated in clear ghost chairs with ivory cushions. Second, acrylic columns held clear vases over flowing with white and blush pink roses. Furthermore, a mirrored aisle was lined with climbing floral arrangements.
Jaw-dropping reception
Last but not least, the wedding took a glamorous turn when it came to the dinner reception — featuring modern table decor, and incredible floral installation above the dance floor, and luxury chandeliers from Above the Top Rentals, and of course dreamy floral centerpieces. Towering centerpieces paired with cascading blooms made for a lavish reception and a magical night celebrating love. Keeping in line with their ceremony, mirrored tabletops and an abundance of blush blooms contributed to the romantic vibe. The couple danced under floral ceiling installations paired with centerpieces on acrylic stands created an elevated reception vibe. Guests were invited to speak in loving memory of Robert’s father who recently passed. As well as that, the couple made sure to have a table dedicated to him complete with a larger than life photo.
