Montage Laguna Beach Wedding | Kimberlee + Mark
When Kimberlee and Mark asked me to be their wedding photographer at the Montage Laguna Beach resort for their intimate ceremony, I was honored. My parents introduced me to Kimberlee at one of their BABC (British American Business Council) soirees. She is a successful, smart, empowered woman and I’m lucky to know her! Mark came into the picture shortly after, also at a BABC luncheon. He is tall, suave, and did I mention he has a British accent? They immediately hit it off and have been together ever since!
After COVID-19 derailed their original wedding plans,
They decided to push on and hold a ceremony at the beach for just immediate family. First, they secured their marriage license at the Anaheim Honda Center earlier that afternoon, then checked into their stunning ocean view room. I was even invited in to take part in a champagne toast for the newlyweds! Kimberlee’s daughters’ had all chipped in to buy their mom’s favorite dish ware designer’s Mr. & Mrs. mugs. She was ecstatic!
At this time, Kimberlee’s close friend and officiant JC arrived. It was a gorgeous, sunny day with a refreshing breeze as we made our way down to the sand. Their ceremony could not have been more perfect. Despite it being summer, we were still able to find a quiet place behind the arch rock. JC took his place atop a rock ledge and the rest of the family chose sides. Last but not least, we took family photos on the sand.
Kimberlee wore a stunning jungle print maxi dress from Dolce & Gabbana. This is her second marriage and she wanted to break out of the normal bride mold! Her colorful bouquet was crafted by McCool Flowers. Furthermore, Mark did not disappoint in a custom Canali suit. As well as that, they exchanged Cartier wedding bands! Undoubtedly, these two were made for each other.
