As a Malibu wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing countless love stories, but Whitney and Justin’s wedding at the Palos Verdes Beach Athletic Club (PVBAC) was truly special. Their journey to this day is a testament to fate and the magic of love.
How Whitney and Justin Met
Justin first saw Whitney in March of 2019 at a Make-A-Wish event. Struck by her beauty, he couldn’t get her out of his mind. He went back to his room that night and told his roommate that he had just seen the most beautiful girl ever. Despite his desire to talk to her more, he didn’t get the chance and was left wondering if he would ever see her again.
Fate had other plans. They crossed paths again at Make-A-Wish events in October and November of the same year. This time, Justin seized the opportunity and asked Whitney out. From their first date, he knew she was the one.
The Wedding at Palos Verdes Beach Athletic Club
Their wedding at the Palos Verdes Beach Athletic Club was sentimental as Whitney had grown up going swimming there. The venue’s stunning ocean views and pool provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. Surrounded by family and friends, Whitney and Justin exchanged vows with the Pacific Ocean shimmering behind them.
Whitney looked stunning in her elegant gown, and Justin couldn’t take his eyes off her. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, with personal vows that brought tears to many eyes. As a Malibu wedding photographer, capturing these genuine emotions is what makes my job so rewarding.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the picturesque location for some breathtaking portraits. The cliffs and ocean views at PVBAC are unmatched, offering a perfect setting for romantic and timeless wedding photos.
The reception was a joyful celebration, filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. Whitney and Justin’s family and friends shared stories and wishes for the couple, adding to the warmth and love that filled the day.
