San Onofre Beach Engagement | Orange County, California | Luke + Sarah
I met Luke + Sarah at San Onofre beach on a sweltering summer evening for their cliffside engagement photos. This San Onofre beach location is quickly becoming one of my favorites in Southern California. To kick things off, we frolicked along the bluff trails and enjoyed the breathtaking view of the rocky tide below. Luke is a firefighter so Sarah made sure she got her Pinterest inspired engagement photos with his uniform! After, we followed the steep hill down to the water just as the sun was setting. It finally felt cool after a long day with temperatures in the 100’s.
San Onofre State Beach is dog friendly on the trails, so of course we stopped to pet the sweetest boy. It’s perfect for couples craving a diversity of backdrops in their session. The steep cliffs are covered in dreamy grass and give way to a rocky beach below. Not to mention, it has unparalleled privacy of any other coastal location I’ve been to near San Diego!
We met at golden hour on a quiet overlook at the south end of the park. Summer transformed the scenery into a soft palette of purple, orange, and gold.
